Lagunitas A Little Sumpin' Extra! Ale
Eitan - This was my choice of beer for the night. I got super excited when I saw the bottle because I really enjoyed the A Little Sumpin' Sumpin' Ale at 4th ave pub. We poured the Ale in to a Tulip Glass from the 22oz bottle. It had a nice amber color and relatively small head. The ale had a nice hoppy and sweet aroma. It had a nice sharp hoppy bitter taste and a very citrusy taste. At first I couldn't put my finger on it and then I got side tracked, but on the way home it came to me, it tasted like a nice ruby red grapefruit mixed with some hops. I enjoyed this beer more than the Hop Stoopid Ale. I would have like to have had the A little Sumpin' Sumpin' to compare, but I am fairly certain I would enjoy the Sumpin' Extra Ale more. Defiantly on my list of good ales to keep having.
